The Department of Management within the G. Brint Ryan College of Business (RCOB) at the University of North Texas (UNT) is seeking a full-time Lecturer of Business Communication, a non-tenure-track position.
Lecturers in the RCOB teach multiple courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and also serve as respected members of the faculty team and contribute strategically in service activities across the department, college, university, and business community.
Minimum Qualifications- A master's degree in business, management, communication, organizational communication, professional communication, or a closely related discipline relevant to teaching business communication.
- Meaningful professional experience in a business, management, consulting, corporate, training, leadership development, or related organizational setting.
- Professional business experience in a communication-intensive capacity, such as corporate communication, consulting, executive communication, leadership communication, management, client relations, training and development, organizational development, sales leadership, public relations, or stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to connect business communication instruction to workplace practice through real-world examples, cases, simulations, projects, executive-style briefings, or applied communication assignments.
- Experience designing or delivering training, workshops, seminars, executive education, leadership development, or professional development programs for business professionals.
- Experience coaching managers, executives, entrepreneurs, or professionals on presentations, writing, interpersonal communication, leadership communication, persuasion, negotiation, conflict management, or stakeholder communication.
