Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience designing electrical systems for automated machinery, looking to step into a role focused on capital equipment and hardware design (not PLC programming) with a market-leading automation business?

They currently have a small but skilled team of electrical engineers and controls engineering, offering a highly collaborative and technically strong environment.

In this role you will own the electrical design phase of complex automation projects through designing electrical layouts, schematics, panel designs, and wiring diagrams, before handoff to the Controls group. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineers to ensure systems are correctly designed, wired, and compliant from day one.

• Electrical hardware design for capital equipment and automation projects
• Design electrical layouts, schematics, panel designs, and wiring diagrams prior to Controls integration
• Work alongside Manufacturing Engineers to design automation systems ensuring all electrical systems are correctly specified, wired, and functional
• Provide technical input through concept, build, installation, and commissioning phases

• Electrical Engineering background with experience in automation or두 machine design
• Experience designing electrical systems for industrial machinery
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Solid knowledge of industrial electrical standards
