SUE Technician II

• Location 3801 Parkwood Blvd Suite 550,Frisco, TX, ,United States
• Travel 50%

As a field crew member, performs vacuum excavation tasks, geophysical prospecting for underground utilities and supports overall crew activities.

• Basic understanding of conductive and non‑conductive utility designating and the application of related equipment.
• Selects and applies appropriate geophysical prospecting equipment to accurately designate non‑complex underground utility layouts.
• Basic comprehension and interpretation of utility and highway design plans, atlases, and record drawings.
• Performs minor maintenance and troubleshooting of vacuum systems.

• Minimum 1 year experience as a SUE Tech I or in the successful application of geophysical equipment in utility locating, such as for a contract utility locating firm or a major utility company
• Ability to stand/sit/walk and lift up to 40lbs to perform requirements.
• Possible work in inclement weather.
• Possible travel by motor vehicle or airplane of up to 2 weeks duration and overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver's license and driving records in good standing.
• Candidates who accept an employment offer must undergo a background check.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card.
