WHO we're looking for:

Recent graduates (or at least will be graduating very soon) to join our Technical Apprentice Program to work on real life projects.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • This position is technically focused so experience and passion for learning new technology is critical.
  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
  • Document all phases of research and development, including data preparation, model testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Experience and

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, in engineering or similar technical field.
  • 0-1 years' work experience or academic projects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Basic skills in SQL or Tableau, with willingness to ramp up.
  • Knowledge of various technology stacks and engineering roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communications and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to work onsite daily at World Link office in Frisco, TX.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Experienced in managing work with distributed teams.
  • Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and complete big challenges.
  • Confident, takes ownership, willingness to get the job done.
