To enable a full-time student to gain practical experience and professional development within public works projects, working collaboratively under mentorship. - Tech Stack: MS Office
- Learn from and be mentored by experienced BGE employees while contributing to team projects.
- Participate in organized events and training specifically designed to foster career growth.
- Engage in dedicated intern-specific activities in addition to regular project responsibilities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on assigned tasks related to public works initiatives.
- Develop foundational professional skills through hands‑on work and structured learning opportunities.
- Background:
Must be a full-time student in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline. - Experience:
Proficiency with standard business software, specifically MS Office applications, is required, along with the aptitude to quickly adopt and utilize industry-specific software tools. - Skills:
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong collaborative approach, working effectively within team environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office business software.
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new industry-specific software applications.
- Commitment and capacity to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
