Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience designing industrial automation systems, looking to step into a senior role where you'll own full electrical design from concept through to commissioning? This is a great opportunity to join a business designing and delivering end to end automated warehouse and conveyor systems across the USA. You'll be part of a strong engineering team where technical ownership, innovation, and progression into senior roles are genuinely supported.
In this role, you'll design electrical systems supporting full automation solutions, including control panels, PLC hardware, power distribution, safety circuits, servo systems, and industrial networking. You'll produce schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams from scratch ensuring compliant, robust design through to installation and startup.
This role is ideal for someone from an automation or system integration background who wants to take ownership of full electrical design and machine safety systems on large scale projects.
The Role:- Design electrical control systems from concept through commissioning
- Produce schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams from scratch (AutoCAD Electrical)
- Design control panels including PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, safety systems, and field devices
- Support commissioning and startup activities on live automation projects
- Electrical design experience in industrial automation systems
- Experience producing schematics and panel designs from scratch
- Knowledge of PLCs, control panels, safety systems, and power distribution
- Experience supporting commissioning and field-based startup work
