Are you a Controls Engineer with hands‑on PLC programming experience, looking to step into a Senior role where you’ll design and build control systems from the ground up? Join a leading automation systems specialist delivering advanced material handling solutions across high‑performance distribution environments.

In this role, you’ll develop from scratch, program, test, and commission full PLC‑based control systems. You’ll take ownership of control system architecture and software design, building machine logic including state management, fault handling, alarms, diagnostics, and recovery sequences. This is a hands‑on role across the full lifecycle from design through to commissioning and customer startup.
This role is ideal for someone from a system integration background who wants to move beyond troubleshooting into full system design and development on large‑scale automation projects.
Responsibilities- Design control system architecture and software from scratch
- Develop, program, test, and commission PLC control systems
- Support full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and startup
- Hands‑on PLC programming experience (any platform)
- Strong experience building control systems from scratch (not just support/troubleshooting)
- Strong understanding of control system architecture and design
