Legends Lunatics – Fan Hype Squad

Legends Lunatics

The Legends Lunatics are responsible for helping create an electric home-court atmosphere at Legends games. Lunatics will be positioned throughout the arena and serve as catalysts for crowd energy, encouraging fans to get loud, get on their feet, and actively participate in the game.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and initiate chants, cheers, clapping and other crowd participation.
• Encourage fans to stand and get loud during key defensive possessions and big moments.
• Help build momentum when the Legends go on a run or make a big play.
• Bring energy to quieter sections of the arena and engage fans around them.
• Work alongside the in-arena host, DJ, mascot and game presentation team to amplify planned crowd prompts.
• Assist with T-shirt tosses, giveaways and other promotional items, helping distribute and safely toss items into the stands during timeouts and breaks in play.
• Help maintain energy during timeouts, breaks in play and other natural lulls in the game.
• Recognize important moments in the game and organically rally the crowd without waiting for a scripted prompt.
• Be outgoing, enthusiastic and willing to interact with fans of all ages.

The Goal:
Create a true home-court advantage by turning the crowd from spectators into active participants in the game. A great Legends Lunatic should love basketball, bring relentless energy, be comfortable getting loud and have the personality to get an entire section of fans to follow their lead.
