SECONDARY MARKETING MANAGER

Job Summary

The Secondary Marketing Manager oversees the sale of Wholesale and Correspondent loans to investors, managing pipeline, pricing, risk and investor relations to maximize profitability. Key duties include setting daily loan prices, managing rate locks, executing heading strategies, ensuring compliance, and supervising teams. This role requires strong financial and analytical skills for this strategic role.

Job Duties
  • Manage the mortgage loan pipeline, set daily pricing, and oversee loan lock policies for best execution.
  • Analyze market trends, manage interest rate risk, and execute hedging strategies to protect profits.
  • Act as a liaison with investors and funding sources, building strong relationships and managing sales.
  • Develop and implement mortgage product strategies and initiatives.
  • Supervise secondary marking staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient operations.
  • Prepare reports, ensure data integrity, and maintain compliance with investor guidelines and regulations.

Work Environment

In-Office: This role operates in a professional office setting and requires regular on-site attendance. Employees in this position will use standard office equipment including a company-issued computer, headset, and webcam, along with access to printers, copiers, and other shared resources.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; or equivalent multiple years of experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mortgage secondary markets, and risk management.
  • Strong ability to analyze market data, assess risk, and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with mortgage loan software (LOS) and financial tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills – experience with Power

    BI is a plus.
