Post Closing Specialist (Investor Loan Delivery Focus)
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Post Closer with strong investor loan delivery experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience preparing, validating, and delivering investor‑ready loan packages with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role is critical in ensuring loan files are complete, compliant, and successfully delivered to investors and other stakeholders.
Whatyou’ll do
- Document Review: Thoroughly review all post‑closing loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, investor requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Investor Loan Delivery: Prepare, validate, and deliver final loan packages to investors within required time frames, ensuring adherence to investor‑specific guidelines and purchase eligibility standards.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately enter and maintain loan information in the company’s loan processing system, ensuring data integrity throughout the post‑closing and investor delivery lifecycle.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties regarding post‑closing documentation, investor suspense conditions, and delivery‑related issues.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies, investor conditions, and post‑closing defects to ensure timely and accurate loan delivery.
- Compliance: Stay current with mortgage regulations and investor guidelines and ensure all post‑closing and delivery activities comply with federal, state, and company policies.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control reviews on closed loan files to ensure they meet both investor delivery requirements and regulatory standards.
- File Management: Maintain organized and efficient electronic filing systems for all post‑closing and investor delivery documentation.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to post‑closing performance, delivery pipelines, suspense items, and investor funding timelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage post‑closing with strong investor loan delivery experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience working with investor guidelines, purchase conditions, and loan delivery requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in mortgage LOS systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve investor suspense items and delivery defects independently.
- In‑depth understanding of mortgage post‑closing processes, investor delivery requirements, and regulatory compliance.
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
