Overview

As senior treasury manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. This includes overseas cash reporting, forecasting, credit administration, and administration of business insurance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Review, prepare, and approve cash flow projections and reporting, and investment strategies to ensure the organization’s financial stability.
  • Manage the company’s debt financing, evaluating capital‑raising options and determining the most cost‑effective and strategic approaches.
  • Serve as head of the cash committee and oversee receipt, disbursement, banking, protection and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.
  • Develop department policies, procedures, and internal controls; ensure they meet the organization’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with the Investment Committee to ensure the short and long‑term financial stability and growth of the organization.
  • Partner with Legal and other key stakeholders on risk‑management programs related to operating risk, insurance, and all other financial risks.
  • Administer employee retirement plans, deferred compensation, and golf retirement plus plans; maintain plan records and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Serve as joint administrator, with the CFO, for the 401(k) and pension plus plans; act as point of contact for plan audits.
  • Direct all aspects of payroll processing operations, including routine processing, tax reporting, and internal financial requirements.
  • Keep leadership informed about payroll laws and regulations; develop implementation plans for required changes.
  • Direct procurement and purchasing operations; develop strategies to provide materials and services that meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing.
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager to develop strategic supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor system performance.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Supervise a department of employees; responsible for performance management and hiring.
  • Assist with the development of the annual budget and monitor results for the Treasury, Insurance, and Investments departments.
  • Provide coaching and development to staff; conduct performance appraisals and feedback.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.

Education and Experience
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Seven years of corporate accounting and financial reporting experience with a concentration in treasury.
  • Risk management, purchasing, and payroll experience preferred.
  • Four years of team‑management experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and systems.
  • Proficiency in payroll, treasury functions, and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday HCM (highly preferred).
  • Basic fluency in AI tools and concepts; ability to use AI to enhance operations.
  • Leadership: ability to lead, influence, and engage a multi‑functional organization.
  • Strategic thinking and innovation; ability to anticipate long‑term business needs.
  • Initiative and problem‑solving skills; ability to prepare accurate cash forecasts.
  • Strong written and oral communication; ability to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Collaboration and teamwork; ability to build relationships across departments.
