Regulatory Systems Manager

This position manages regulatory rule review and writing, internal edit check logic and cross report requirements. Provides production support for bank regulatory reporting, including the quarterly Call and FRY reports and other regulatory disclosures such as the FR2900, FR2644, FFIEC 009, among others.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provides production support for bank regulatory reporting, including the quarterly Call and FRY reports and other regulatory disclosures such as the FR2900, FR2644, FFIEC 009, among others.
  • Serves as point of contact for regulatory system issues, implementations, and reporting platform processes for applicable regulatory reports.
  • Continuously enhance regulatory rule output and drive accountability of the critical data elements used for regulatory reporting rules including collaboration with various stakeholders across business and functional areas of the bank to interpret, identify and implement regulatory reporting data sources.
  • Research and review regulatory reporting changes including impact analysis for existing and/or new MDRM line/cells.
  • Works closely with the Regulatory Reporting teams to review regulations and update/create reporting rules. Oversee DEV/UAT rule output testing and validation prior to promotion to production.
  • Review rules integrating data into regulatory reports and underlying work papers and calculations for accuracy and completeness, while assisting staff with proper preparation of these reports.
  • Manage reporting rule and system processes to ensure timeliness and proper workflow and incorporation of all feedback received from other collaborators.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate, increase efficiencies and improve controls with software and process enhancements as well as compliance with Enhanced Prudential Standards.
  • Research and consult on complex reporting issues and respond to ad-hoc requests for reports and information.
  • Manage and develop staff.
