Manager, Client Accounting Services - Family Office

Overview

• Accountable for the overall accounting operations of client companies, including the preparation of periodic financial reports.
• Maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy and relevance of reported financial results.
• Ensure compliance with the applicable accounting framework and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Provide business advisory services by delivering analysis and insights based on current business trends and industry experience.
• Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports and benchmarking.
• Work with other managers to streamline workflows across departments and offices.
• Coach, train and mentor staff on client service, tax and accounting matters.
• Lead by fostering teamwork, setting clear expectations, and managing workflow efficiencies.

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in professional accounting functions.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, including classification, recording and summarizing financial data.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with Quick Books On‑Line (QBO) and/or Sage Intacct.

The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $159,920. Actual compensation is influenced by relevant factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, work arrangement and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation package to eligible employees.
