Job Description
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, receiving dedicated and personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After obtaining your licenses, you will learn foundational skills to become an advisor, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships and providing comprehensive financial advice. You will work in a financial center, supporting Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care initiatives.
Successful completion of this stage typically leads to progression to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will deepen relationships within your client portfolio and gain opportunities to advance within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy will support you with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.
This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration may result in immediate termination.

- Grow your business knowledge using a defined consultative approach to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
- Earn your SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (66 acceptable in lieu of 63 and 65) within required time frames: SIE in 30 days of hire and Series 7 & 66 within 120 days.
- Build your network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
- Provide end‑to‑end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners, connecting clients to the solutions we provide through Bank of America and Merrill to meet virtually all their financial needs.
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
Schedule and ShiftMonday – Friday with rotating Saturdays; 1st shift (United States of America).

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Location and Training NoteThis position is open for the entire market. The specific Financial Center location will be determined based on business needs. If offered, you will train at one financial center and may begin your role in a phone‑based capacity until a suitable center location within reasonable commuting distance is established, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
