Role Overview
As a Senior Manager within our Capital Markets Team, you will be the execution lead and central orchestrator for our most critical initiatives, guiding them from inception to successful completion. This is a high‑visibility leadership role for a hands‑on operator who excels at driving complex, cross‑functional work streams while ensuring strict alignment with the company’s broader finance and planning priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Execution Leadership
:
Provide end‑to‑end oversight of Capital Markets initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery and clear accountability across work streams; actively push progress, enforce timelines, and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables. - Cross‑Functional Enablement
:
Act as the primary liaison between Capital Markets and other partner teams, removing roadblocks and ensuring New Product and Transaction Execution teams can operate efficiently without distraction from external dependencies. - Strategic Problem Solving
:
Identify execution risks and operational bottlenecks, design and implement practical mitigation strategies, and conduct analytics and deep‑dive assessments as needed. - Stakeholder Orchestration
:
Drive alignment across senior stakeholders by establishing clear ownership, tracking milestones, and ensuring follow‑through on commitments. - Executive Communication
:
Produce high‑impact, concise updates and materials for senior leadership, providing transparency into progress, risks, and key decisions. - Governance & Transparency
:
Maintain rigorous governance standards, including progress tracking, decision logs, and overall initiative health to ensure disciplined execution. - Funding & Transaction Strategy
:
Partner with the Head of Capital Markets and senior team members to develop and advance innovative funding structures, transaction strategies, and scalable solutions that enhance SoFi’s competitive position.
- 10+ years of experience in project management or operations, preferably within Capital Markets, Finance, Investment Banking, or a high‑growth Fintech environment.
- Proven track record of connecting the dots across multiple complex concepts while maintaining the ability to dig deep into data and operational details.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive accountability across diverse, cross‑functional teams.
- A natural curiosity and the ability to ask the right questions to uncover risks and optimize project outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑stakeholder initiatives from ideation through completion, ensuring strategic initiatives are managed and driven forward.
- Advanced proficiency in G‑Suite/Microsoft Office (expert‑level slide building) and project management platforms, with a disciplined approach to documentation and digital organization.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing tight timelines and shifting priorities without compromising the quality of strategic output.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
