Description Asset Manager

CAF Capital Partners | Frisco, TX | On-Site | Full-Time

CAF is hiring an Asset Manager as we grow our institutionally capitalized multifamily portfolio across Texas and the Sunbelt. This is a hands-on position for an experienced real estate professional who wants real ownership of outcomes, NOI, capital plans, partner relationships, and investor reporting, inside a vertically integrated platform that is still building.

About CAF:

CAF Capital Partners is a vertically integrated multifamily investment, operations, and asset management platform headquartered in Frisco, Texas. Over 15 years, CAF has executed more than $4B in multifamily transactions, built a 25,000-unit portfolio, developed nationally recognized public-private partnerships, and capitalized deals alongside premier institutional partners.

The Role:

You will work alongside team of asset managers to oversee a portfolio of CAF-owned communities and be directly accountable for asset-level performance from close through disposition, including setting business plans, driving operations through our property management teams, leading capital planning and value-add execution, and serving as a primary contact for institutional LPs and lenders on your assets. You'll work daily with acquisitions, property management, construction, accounting, and investor relations, and help shape how asset management scales at CAF.

What

You Will Do

Own NOI: analyze monthly financials, KPIs, and market benchmarks; identify underperformance and drive corrective action

Lead annual budgeting, reforecasting, and long-term capital planning

Determine scope, prioritize, and execute Cap Ex and value-add programs. This will include underwriting premiums, validating ROI and monitoring execution

Manage affordability covenants, tax-exemption structures, and municipal partnership compliance

Be the expert in your markets and feed local intelligence into acquisitions and due diligence

Prepare asset-level reporting and quarterly performance narratives for institutional partners and lenders

Lead refinancing and disposition preparation, including broker engagement

Mentor analysts and help build CAF's asset management processes and tools

Travel approximately 10–20% to assigned markets

What You Bring:

5–10+ years of multifamily asset management experience, ideally across multiple MSAs with institutional capital partners

Track record owning asset-level P&L: budgeting, NOI optimization, capital planning

Experience in value-add renovations and Cap Ex ROI modeling

Experience with (or strong interest in) public-private partnership and tax-exemption structures

Exceptional written and verbal communication, including investor- and lender-facing reporting

Proven ability to drive performance through property management teams

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field

Who You Are:

Kind, detail-oriented, hungry, and trustworthy. A strategic thinker who loves being in the weeds. A builder who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with high career growth potential.

What We Offer:

Competitive compensation aligned with experience

Health, dental, vision, 401(k), and profit sharing

A mission-driven, high-performance culture where impact is measurable

CAF Capital Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
