• Provide daily support and guidance to the Patient Access team
• Oversee team staffing, coaching, accountability, and performance improvement plans
• Evaluate workload and adjust staffing to meet program needs
• Assist with workload tasks such as benefit verification and patient calls
  
  Serve as a point of escalation for complex customer issues

• Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 3 years of specialty pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy, and/or reimbursement experience
• Previous healthcare management experience required
• At least 3 years of experience applying knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care reimbursement guidelines
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word

• Previous medical and pharmacy benefit experience
• Ability to interpret payor contract fee schedules based on NDC and HCPCS units
• Experience handling multiple priorities in a changing environment
