Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Tech/Aide to join our growing healthcare facility in Frisco, United States. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide quality care and support to patients during their rehabilitation journey.
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering prescribed patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment in proper working condition
- Transport patients to and from therapy sessions and assist with proper positioning
- Perform clerical duties including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Clean and sanitize treatment areas, equipment, and supplies according to protocols
- Monitor and document patient responses to therapy
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and provide basic instruction under therapist supervision
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0-1 year experience in healthcare setting; previous PT aide experience preferred
- Proficiency in operating physical therapy equipment and devices
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements
- Strong understanding of proper patient positioning and transfer techniques
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Physical stamina to assist patients and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
