In-Home ABA Therapist

Overview

Action Behavior Centers provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy at home for children ages 18 months to 13 years diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our in‑home ABA services bring therapy into a child’s familiar environment to make learning meaningful, personalized, and engaging.

• Work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 12 years old using play-based ABA therapy
• Travel to clients’ homes to provide care in comfortable, familiar environments, with the ability to drive up to 45 minutes each way as needed
• Work autonomously to manage your caseload, taking ownership of your work while using your clinical expertise to support children’s growth and development
• Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities
• Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space

• Drive your personal vehicle to patient appointments. Arrive promptly and ready to work. Focus entirely on your patient during direct therapy sessions
• Make a Difference Every Day:
  We provide full training and cover the cost of your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate

• Lift up to 30 lbs; sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children; get on and off the floor frequently; maintain an active pace
• Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Commitment to ABC’s core value of teamwork; may occasionally support a nearby sister clinic if needed

• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, daytime hours (8am-5pm). May volunteer for an occasional Saturday based on patient needs
• Position is full-time
• Start Date:
  
  Immediate openings available;
  Hiring immediately – we respond quickly to applications
• Experience that’s a plus (but not required): childcare roles, mental health roles, camp counselors, paraprofessionals, caregivers, life skill assistants
• Pay: determined by education and ABA experience
• High School/Associate’s Degree: $15.50-$23.50 per hour
• Bachelor’s Degree: $16.50-$25.50 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $17.50-$27.00 per hour
• Additional Benefits: $2.00/hr premium pay, mileage reimbursement, two oil changes per year (up to $50)
• First raise after obtaining RBT certification (typically about three weeks)
