Pharmacy Technician

Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in Frisco, TX!

This is a on-site position. Candidates must be able to commute daily to our client’s location in Frisco, TX.

To be considered, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Work on a W-2 basis only; C2C or 1099 are not permitted

Your contributions will directly impact patient health and well-being, providing an opportunity to make a real difference in patient care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be essential to the prescription fulfillment process, leveraging advanced systems, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing prescription exceptions, resolving claim rejects, and contacting members and physicians
• Entering member demographics and prescription information accurately into data systems
• Investigating and resolving rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns
• Consulting with a Pharmacist on complex prescriptions
• Supporting inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians
• Performing other duties as assigned

Must-Have

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by state
• Basic computer skills

The target hourly compensation range is $23.61 to $26.24, based on education, experience, certifications, and location.
