Role: PRN Dietitian supporting weekend coverage at a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' nutritional status and create personalized nutrition plans based on medical history and needs.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families on nutrition, healthy habits, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical nutrition protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans accordingly.
- Stay current with advancements in clinical nutrition research.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
- Preferred clinical experience of at least one year.
- Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or ability to obtain within six months.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through quality nutrition care.
