Role Overview: This position involves performing advanced imaging procedures, including MRI, ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The MRI Technologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services, assist with sedation cases, and perform venipuncture when needed.
Responsibilities- Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging
- Communicate clearly and foster a collaborative environment
- Ensure excellent patient care and seek continuous improvement
- Support professional growth and team development
- Assist radiologists and nurses during procedures
- Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current BLS certification
- Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Texas Department of State Health certification
- Minimum of 1 year work experience or ARRT (R) with a plan to obtain ARRT (MR) license within a year
