As a new team member, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a new, state of the art heart hospital designed with one purpose in mind: delivering world class, patient entered cardiovascular care. In anticipation of our opening, select roles will begin as early as Summer 2026, allowing you to complete comprehensive orientation and training at our nationally recognized Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospitals.

This immersive experience ensures you are fully prepared, aligned with our culture, and equipped with the highest standards of clinical excellence before the Frisco campus opens.

• Invasive Cardiology

• Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

• Days: 7am - 5:30pm with rotating day off

• Will train (Current CVIS/CVIT Students, Recent Grads and Rad Techs welcome to apply)

• 2 years + Cath Lab or EP Lab

• Will be held at The Heart Hospital Plano location: 1100 Allied Drive, Plano, TX 75093

• Cases:
  Coronary
  - Cardiac catheterization, PCI, Impella/IABP, PFO/ASD, Cardiomems
• Vascular
  - Peripheral angiogram and intervention, thrombectomy, fistulagram, EVAR, Limflow revascularization
• EP
  - Ablation (afib, flutter, SVT, VT), device placement (pacemaker, defibrillator, CCM, loop recorder), LAAO, Remede Implant

• STEMI call required, approximately 7-8 days of call per month including one weekend. Holiday call required, rotates on an annual basis, at least one major (Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's) and one minor (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day).

• Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00-5:30pm, your day off will not be the same day each week

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, under general supervision, helps Physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. Prepares room and equipment, instructs patients, monitors patient's condition, and provides routine and emergency care during procedures. Contributes to the orientation and training of other team members. Helps in daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.

• Helps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardiac defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional, peripheral and coronary, interventional and thrombolytic therapy.
• Follows national and state radiation protection regulations for patients, self, and staff. Provides emergency procedures like CPR and defibrillation as needed.
• Performs pre and post-procedure care and monitoring.
• Orients patients for catheterization or electrophysiology procedures.
• Answers related questions to make patient relaxed.
• Monitors patient's ECG, pressures, temperature and impendences while in Electrophysiology Lab; notifies physician of variances.
• Helps in running RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, and records other procedural documentation.
• Manages and maintains images that may include stenosis testing, formatting and processing on both cardiac and peripheral cases.
• Helps in procedure rooms and collects registry and quality data on appropriate forms.
• Gathers catheterization data and prepares procedure reports.
• Prepares and maintains sterile fields for Lab procedures.
• Orders and maintains inventory of procedure room supplies.
• Ensures procedure rooms are adequately stocked and equipment has not expired.
• Coordinates and/or audits resources during yearly inventories.
