Opportunity in Interventional Cardiology | US Heart and Vascular® | Heart Place
About the RoleAs an APP in the specialized field of interventional cardiology, you’ll work closely with our Cardiologist and also independently manage patient care, guiding and educating patients regarding various procedures within this unique cardiology specialty.
What We’re Looking For- Experience:
At least two years in cardiology; prior APP experience preferred. - Setting:
Primarily outpatient with some inpatient rounding as needed—strong outpatient experience is ideal. - Education:
Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. - Licensure:
Active Texas license (or willingness to obtain). - Certifications:
Valid DEA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- In-depth cardiovascular assessment expertise and exceptional patient care skills.
- Proficiency with EKGs, patient assessments, and comprehensive cardiology management.
- A collaborative team member with the ability to work independently in our renowned cardiology practice.
