** Duties/Responsibilities
*** Athletic Trainers coordinate and provides coverage for outside events on behalf of the Sports Medicine Center
* Assist in the assessment and treatment of sport-related injuries at events designated by the Scotitsh Rite
* Provide sports injury assessment at events, and on-site care of athletic injuries, such as immediate first aid and evaluation of injury status
* Refer athletes requiring additional medical or health care services to the appropriate resources for such care (for example, the athlete’s primary care physician or nearest hospital)# Required Skills/Abilities
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in an accredited athletic training program or related field
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred
* Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) certification preferred
* License in the state of Texas
