Role Overview
Galileo seeks a Director of Sales Engineer to serve as a client-facing resource, assisting in pre- and post-sales technical implementations. You will liaise between sales, internal teams, and clients to maximize the value of the Galileo platform.

Responsibilities

• Learn and become an expert on Galileo’s APIs, tools, and services. Assist sales in communicating technical features to prospective clients. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders to understand client needs.
• Vet third-party providers, assess their capabilities, and facilitate contracts for additional services.
• Document third-party offerings and develop integration plans for engineering teams.
• Help clients architect and build payment platforms, working with project managers and internal teams to ensure best practices, resolve issues, and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Understanding of financial services, banking, and payment platforms.
• Knowledge of system architecture, databases, and web technologies (RESTful APIs).
• Experience with issuer processors.
• Ability to communicate complex business and system processes clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated, autonomous, adaptable to ambiguity.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
• Client-facing experience required.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional presentation skills.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range is $190,800—$291,500 USD, with potential bonuses and incentives. Benefits details are available on our Benefits page.
