Position duties and responsibilities

• Ensure system coherence and integrate cutting‑edge solutions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to lead the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
• Drive innovation across the organization through expert knowledge and leadership in system architecture.
• Maintain T‑Mobile’s leadership in the telecommunications industry by leveraging advanced architectural practices.
• Evaluate current technological trends and integrate them into strategic planning for system development.
• Participate in other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed.

• Designing and developing cloud architecture and modernization frameworks across AWS and Azure, fully aligned with organizational strategy and long‑term goals.
• Leading and executing enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure initiatives leveraging Kubernetes platform engineering using EKS, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Network Services.
• Implementing global IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python to streamline deployments and enhance operational efficiency.
• Building and executing strategies for cloud governance, financial optimization, and operational excellence to strengthen organizational cloud maturity.
• Providing cloud leadership, people development, and strategic direction to advance organizational objectives.
• Leading initiatives in observability and site reliability engineering using Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Watch to improve cloud operations and system resilience.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, and 9 years of relevant work experience.

Location:

Frisco, TX. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3‑4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Wage Range: $154,856 to $175,000 per year. Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience. Eligible employees are also available for annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, and most corporate employees are eligible for a year‑end bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
