Network Infrastructure Engineer

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm, currently seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a prominent client located in Frisco, TX 75034
. Details of the position are as follows:

• Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours,
  Onsite Position!
• Pay range starts at $55+/hr!
• 4+ Month contract to start! This is a W2 Contract (No 1099/C2C), with a possibility of extension or conversion beyond the original duration based on performance & budget at that time.

• Position is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
• Position will also be responsible for supporting advanced routing, switching, wireless, DNS/DHCP, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, and cloud-connected network environments while maintaining network performance, stability, and security.
• Position will be in charge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, implementation of infrastructure changes, device hardening, firewall/security administration, and maintaining operational documentation across complex enterprise and data center environments.

• Strong experience with advanced network engineering including BGP, OSPF, EVPN-VXLAN, Leaf-Spine architecture, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, ACLs, DNS/DHCP, and QoS is required!
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware and technologies including Aruba, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point is required!
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center network infrastructure environments with strong troubleshooting, implementation, monitoring, and documentation skills is required!
• Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs, and network security technologies is preferred!
• Experience working within modern enterprise or service provider network environments is preferred!
