Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Review the design and development of security models, and establish procedures and guidelines for hardware, software and network security that support information security policies.
- Identify portions of the organization's IT platform/infrastructure with the highest potential return for cloud deployment.
- Facilitate implementation of the organization's global strategies and initiatives to enhance Information Technology plans, operations and procedures.
- Oversee security awareness programs; educate and communicate to staff about information security policies, procedures, and practices.
- Craft the organizational technology vision and information security principles and standards to ensure that the information security needs of the business are met.
- Review and implement the design for security solutions, champion them through the architectural portions of the software development life cycle process.
- Advise on security tool selection decisions and act as the voice of security in the governance of the software development process.
- Serve as an internal information security consultant on standards, complex issues and best practices.
- Coach and delegate work to lower level professionals; manage select projects and processes to ensure high‑quality and timely completion.
- Lead the cost/benefit evaluation of cloud solutions compared to virtual private networks, dedicated hosting, and in‑house solutions.
- Review technical feasibility of adopting external cloud‑based IT platform and infrastructure services within the organization.
- University degree (preferred) and 5+years required (7+preferred) in IT Operations with at least 2+years in Cyber Security Operations or Architecture.
- At least 2+years managing multiple projects.
- 2+years experience with cloud architectures (SaaS, PaaS), commercial cloud systems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud security solutions (CASB, MFA, Zero Trust Architecture).
- Professional certification such as CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), CISSP, or CISM, or comparable.
- Familiarity with program coding; worked in an agile environment; experience with development pipelines and automation (Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops ).

The organization offers a competitive compensation package: base salary of $136,000–$165,000 per year plus participation in incentive programs linked to performance.
