responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-Counter Support: Acting as the primary internal user-facing support system, assisting employees as they walk up to the IT kiosk.
  • Hardware/Software Troubleshooting: Handling issues related to Macs, Windows PCs, and mobile device enrollment and application installations.
  • Ticket Management: Working actively from a walk-up kiosk queue using Service Now. There is no strict daily ticket quota to hit, but candidates must actively pick up and resolve requests.
Required Skills & Candidate Profile
  • Customer Service (Top Priority): The manager emphasized that excellent customer service and communication skills are the most critical requirements for this role. Resumes must show clear experience interacting directly with end-users, rather than just back-end or remote desk-side support.
  • Technical Autonomy: The environment lacks extensive documentation, so candidates must be fast learners, autonomous, and comfortable problem-solving on the fly.
  • Tech Stack: Must be comfortable troubleshooting Windows, Macs, and mobile devices, and using Service Now.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+ is a nice-to-have to prove baseline troubleshooting knowledge, but there are no mandatory certifications.
qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in tech support and administration

At least 1 year of remote tech administration and end user support

At least 1 year of experience with Windows 10

At least 1 year of experience with ticketing and traffic reporting tools (Zendesk, HPSM, Service Now)
