Role Overview
Job Title:
Technical Product Manager – Data Platform & Analytics. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to define and drive a modern data platform that ingests data from multiple sources, ensures high data quality, and delivers near real‑time insights (15‑minute refresh) via Power BI / Microsoft Fabric dashboards. This role bridges business, data engineering, and analytics teams to deliver scalable and reliable data products.
Product Ownership & Strategy
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for the data platform. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories. Drive adoption of modern data architecture and near real‑time analytics.
Data Platform & Integration
Drive ingestion from multiple data sources (APIs, databases, streaming, third‑party systems). Define and manage data workflows using Databricks / Spark for large‑scale processing, Delta Lake for reliable, scalable data storage, and Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics. Partner with engineering to build scalable, efficient data pipelines.
Data Quality & Freshness
Define and enforce data validation, quality checks, and governance standards. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Establish and monitor data freshness SLAs (~15‑minute refresh cycles). Implement monitoring, alerting, and issue resolution workflows.
Analytics & Visualization
Deliver business insights through Power BI / Microsoft Fabric dashboards. Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, and semantic models. Ensure dashboards provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Execution & Collaboration
Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and business stakeholders. Drive Agile execution (backlog management, sprint planning, UAT). Manage dependencies, risks, and cross‑team alignment.
Required SkillsExperience as a Technical Product Manager in data/analytics platforms. Strong understanding of Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses. Knowledge of data pipelines (ETL/ELT), streaming, and near real‑time systems. Experience with Power BI / Microsoft Fabric (or similar BI tools). Understanding of data quality, governance, and monitoring frameworks. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Nice to HaveExperience with Azure Data Factory, Kafka/Event Hubs. Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and semantic layers. Exposure to data governance / MDM frameworks.
