In this role, the Lead AI Governance Specialist will be responsible for participating in the design and deployment of the AI governance framework, including Responsible AI Policy, Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines. The individual will participate in the resolution of process gaps and design solutions to problems that prevent TIAA from enabling AI solutions Senior AI Governance and Risk Specialist will play a key role in ensuring submitted use cases adhere to Responsible AI requirements and that necessary control partners are engaged to review.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Participate in development and implementation of AI governance framework.
- Participate in the design and implementation of controls to address AI risk
- Facilitate risk assessments for AI engagements to the Responsible use of AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI governance principles in existing processes and procedures.
- Stay abreast of global AI governance trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide training, guidance, and communications to staff on AI governance matters.
- Maintain AI COE process and procedure documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Required Qualifications- 5 Years Experience in Technology or Financial Services
- 3 Years Experience with in a Risk or Governance Role
- 7+ Years Experience in Financial Services or Technology
- Experience presenting to Stakeholder or Business Leaders to foster collaboration and influence decision making
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Industry Certifications Preferred, such as: CISSP or CISA

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
