We're partnering with a growing organization looking to add a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to its Infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing high-level end-user support, leading desktop initiatives, and serving as a technical resource for both users and junior IT staff.
What You'll Be Doing- Deliver Tier II/III desktop support for hardware, software, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, desktop hardware, peripherals, and business applications.
- Configure, deploy, and support laptops, docking stations, thin clients, printers, and other endpoint devices.
- Manage software deployments, updates, patching, and endpoint maintenance to ensure security and performance.
- Support conference room and audio/visual technology for meetings and hybrid collaboration.
- Lead desktop hardware refreshes, operating system upgrades, and other endpoint technology initiatives.
- Assist with employee onboarding by provisioning devices, accounts, and technology resources.
- Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to implement endpoint security and best practices.
- Mentor junior support technicians and contribute to process improvements across the IT team.
- Experience providing advanced desktop or endpoint support in a professional enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management.
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms, asset management, and change management processes.
- Hands‑on experience with desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with endpoint security, MFA, software deployment, and system patching.
- Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent response and resolution times.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent experience). CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
