The RoleAs an Infrastructure/Cloud Architecture professional at Kyndryl, this role designs and guides cloud, Linux platform, container, and edge infrastructure architecture for a client’s software engineering and product platform environment. This is a software‑platform architecture role focused on cloud‑edge engineering, Linux platforms, Kubernetes, containers, Dev Ops integration, and platform readiness rather than traditional server administration or data‑center operations.
- Design and guide cloud, Linux platform, container, and edge infrastructure architecture to support engineering workloads.
- Support cloud implementation work streams alongside cloud architects, senior cloud engineers, platform engineers, Dev Ops engineers, technical leads, delivery leads, and project managers.
- Provide guidance for scalability, reliability, automation, platform integration, infrastructure dependencies, operational readiness and engineering enablement.
- Collaborate with software, Dev Ops, testing, technical support and delivery teams.
- Work within customer‑provided cloud platforms, infrastructure, environments, tool chains, licenses, access models and governance frameworks.

- Solid understanding of data center systems, storage, networking & security, applications and databases.
- Understanding of systems and solutions architecture.
- Hands‑on experience and learning with data center technologies, cloud software and interoperability.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels.
U.S. base salary range: $115,080 to $218,520. Part‑time roles will be adjusted accordingly. Location‑specific ranges:
- California (San Francisco Bay Area): $138,120 to $262,320
- California (All Other): $126,600 to $240,480
- Colorado: $115,080 to $218,520
- Massachusetts: $115,080 to $240,480
- New York City: $138,120 to $262,320
- Washington: $126,600 to $240,480
- Washington DC: $126,600 to $240,480
