Our growing North Texas litigation firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney with a demonstrated strength in legal briefing and motion practice to join our expanding team.

This is a premier opportunity for a highly skilled legal writer who enjoys shaping case strategy, drafting persuasive arguments, and working on sophisticated matters in both Texas state and federal courts

We are not a high-volume litigation practice — our attorneys handle complex disputes where strong analytical ability and exceptional writing materially impact outcomes.

This position is best suited for an attorney who enjoys the intellectual side of litigation and wants to play a central role in shaping case strategy through written advocacy.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a confident and strategic litigator with approximately 8–12 years of experience and a proven ability to independently manage substantive briefing in complex cases.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and responding to Motions for Summary Judgment
  • Rule 12 motions and dispositive briefing
  • Daubert and expert-related motions
  • Discovery and procedural motions
  • Appellate-style briefing
  • Early case evaluation and strategic analysis
  • Collaborating directly with partners on high-exposure matters

This role offers significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence litigation strategy from the outset of each case.

Qualifications
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
  • Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Extensive motion practice experience in state and federal courts
  • Ability to manage complex briefing with minimal supervision
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and strategic thinking

Judicial clerkship, appellate experience, or large-firm training are valued but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $180,000 – $210,000
