Supply Planner – This job is onsite in Frisco, TX, with two days a week remote.
JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Supply Planning Supervisor, the Supply Planner will manage creation and timely execution of purchase orders and inventory management to support business objectives while maintaining lowest possible inventory levels and agreed on service levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Create a purchase plan for the distribution centers to balance service and inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory strategies by regular review and optimization of supply planning parameters (e.g., re-order points, safety stock, ABC categorization, MOQ).
- Optimize the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, inventory, and safety stock levels for an allocated portfolio of SKUs.
- Own daily service management for DCs and develop action plans for continuous improvement while collaborating with demand planning and operations.
- Conduct regular inventory level reviews of high and low in-stock SKUs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate and communicate with transportation/DC to expedite supply if needed.
- Manage potential obsolescence to minimize inventory liabilities and drive root cause problem solving and action planning/execution to reduce P&L impact.
- Measure supply planning KPIs to improve and/or maintain business objectives as they pertain to the S&OP organization.
- Manage end‑to‑end process of PO creation to PO receipt by the DC in a timely manner.

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field preferred, not required.
- Recent college graduates considered.
- 1‑3 years in a supply planning role.
- Experience in S&OP or Integrated Business Planning processes preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with persistent attention to detail and comfort managing competing priorities and ambiguity.
- Proven ability to organize, analyze, and present complex data, utilizing quantitative and qualitative information to identify patterns and discover new insights.
- Understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain functions.
- Grasp concepts easily and challenge status quo.
- Identify issues and proactively implement solutions that drive growth.
- Enjoy detail work while seeing the big picture.
- Operate independently and recognize available resources.
- Wearing multiple hats while tying loose ends.
- Manage own workload while accepting delegation and feedback.
