The Regional Market Leader plays a critical role in unlocking this potential by providing strategic direction and operational oversight across designated markets. This leader is responsible for driving local relationships and business and economic development while aligning closely with Haskell's internal Market Leaders and Segment Market Leaders across Planning & Development (P&D) and Construction & Manufacturing (C&M). By executing local market strategies and fostering strong client relationships, the Regional Market Leader ensures sustainable growth and profitability.

This role is instrumental in connecting corporate objectives to local execution—building high‑performing teams, enhancing market presence, and delivering consistent results across the region.

• Establish and implement regional policies, procedures, and organizational structure within the boundaries established by the Locations Market Segment Leader and corporate policy
• Develop, direct, and monitor short‑term and long‑range plans consistent with the overall profit and growth objectives of the market and company
• Plan, staff, and supervise all regional activities, including personnel administration, performance reviews, defining functions, responsibilities, power‑to‑act, and the like
• Provide guidance and directions to subordinate managers in identifying potential clients and the desired scope of projects.
• Maintain an effective business development and economic development program, securing profitable work in alignment with regional business strategy and corporate objectives on a routine basis
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with key local stakeholders, including city officials, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, charities, site selectors, and AEC organizations, to enhance Haskell’s market presence and visibility
• Confer with professional staff to resolve operating problems, authorize regional operational procedures, and approve all major estimates
• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate positive relationships and communication
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships to position the business for new work and to maintain the relationship through project execution
• Maintain positive financial posture for assigned regional work segments and monitor cost analysis activities on a routine basis.
• May manage financial aspects of regional work activities
• Perform additional assignments as required by the operating needs of the region or as directed by the Locations Market Segment Leader

• A deep command of the public and private construction industry, paired with the ability to lead complex operations at scale and translate vision into execution
• A well‑rounded business acumen, with expertise across financial management, marketing, estimating, and people leadership
• Exceptional leadership presence, with the ability to align teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate with clarity and purpose
• A proven track record of building, scaling, and elevating regional offices into high‑performing, growth‑oriented markets
• A powerful local network and reputation, with the ability to activate relationships and consistently generate new business opportunities

• Four‑year degree plus 15+ years of experience in the AEC Industry
