As a Contracts Admin Manager at LJA Land Development
, you will supervise contract administration staff while continuing to develop as a subject matter expert in construction contract processes. This role ensures work is completed accurately, consistently, and on time, while supporting the development and performance of team members. You will provide technical guidance, review contract administration deliverables, and help maintain adherence to established processes, templates, and filing standards.
- Supervising and managing contract administration staff, including assigning work and monitoring performance.
- Reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
- Providing training, mentorship, and development support to team members.
- Resolving complex contract issues and offering technical guidance as needed.
- Ensuring the team follows established processes, templates, and filing standards.
- Developing and implementing process improvements.
Required Education / Licenses /
Certifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of contract administration processes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to ensure quality and consistency across team deliverables.
- Ability to work independently within an assigned functional area.
- Experience providing team oversight, with direction provided on broader departmental goals and priorities.
- Ideal candidates also have:
- Experience supervising 1–6 direct reports.
- Ability to provide training, mentorship, and development to team members.
- Experience resolving complex contract issues and providing technical guidance.
- Strong understanding of contract administration standards, templates, filing processes, and quality control.
- Ability to support consistency, accuracy, and timely completion of contract administration work.
