The Principal Implementation Program Manager directs all aspects of client onboarding from Discovery through transition to Lifecycle Support for large, complex engagements focused on emerging technologies and connected car solutions within Enterprise, Strategic, and Public Sector accounts. As a key customer‑facing individual contributor and subject‑matter expert, the Manager ensures 100% customer satisfaction, drives strategic direction, and oversees contract implementation—identifying all deliverables, owners, partners, and creating and delivering factual, timely, and quality tracking processes and program plans to achieve Master Service Agreements within the established timeline and budget.
Job Responsibilities- Participate in Sales processes, engage in discovery and strategy sessions, and prepare RFP responses related to Implementation and Lifecycle Support.
- Define and manage Onboarding program scope and detailed plans for large, complex engagements, influencing variables that may result in scope creep.
- Identify internal and external stakeholders and project teams, ensuring alignment with Onboarding plans, quality control points, and success measurements.
- Lead communication of overall program status from Discovery through transition to Lifecycle Support, including Project Plans, Executive Briefings, risks, mitigation strategies, and performance projections.
- Communicate risks in clear business and technical terms, providing messaging and solution options at Senior Leadership and Executive levels.
- Develop customer‑specific Implementation and Lifecycle Customer Support models by coordinating multiple work groups (Sales, Implementation, Care, Business Operations, Engineering, Product, Vendor Management).
- Influence and coordinate cross‑functional teams (Sales, Operations, Care, Product, Technical) without direct supervisory authority to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of high‑quality project requirements and 100% customer satisfaction.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedule estimates, resource plans, status reports, and implementation priorities, establishing tools and processes to track and report progress toward program goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree (Required)
- 4–7 years formal project/program management experience (Required)
- 4–7 years managing or supporting business customers in a Sales, Service, or Account Management environment (Required)
- Highly developed communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver written and verbal presentations at the C‑level, internally and externally (Required)
- Superior program and project management skills, including the ability to organize and lead all facets of a project or team and develop detailed end‑to‑end plans (Required)
- Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate T‑Mobile’s Implementation value proposition (Required)
- Subject‑matter expertise in wireless technologies, solutions, technologies, and operating systems—including wireless, Sync‑Up, iOS, Android, MDM, and in‑building network (Required)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint (Required)
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to manage highly complex customer issues in a time‑sensitive, high‑pressure environment (Required)
- Ability to build strong cross‑functional partnerships and leverage internal and external resources, moving programs and projects toward completion (Required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred
