Practice Manager – Veterinary Hospital
Employment Type: Full‑time
Pay Range: $63,822 – $92,187 annually
Job Purpose and Function: In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in the hospital, managing day‑to‑day operations so the medical team can devote their time to delivering the highest quality veterinary care. You will drive business results with your practice‑management skills and develop staff to foster an engaging team environment.
Responsibilities- Interview, hire and develop associates.
- Evaluate hospital processes, progress, and productivity.
- Train associates to educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
- Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices.
- Budget and plan for the hospital.
- Support daily operations and staffing.
- Schedule associates, coordinate time off, and manage continuing education.
- Maintain a positive client and patient experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Three years of related experience (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.) with direct supervisory experience.
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A knack for problem‑solving.
- Conflict management experience.
- Leadership and analytical know‑how.
