The Coordinator of Volunteer Services coordinates and implements volunteer programs. This includes recruiting, orienting, and scheduling volunteers.
Essential Functions OfThe Role
- Consults with management, administrators and staff to regulate organization needs for various volunteer services.
- Coordinates and executes volunteer recruitment activities in support of specified program priorities.
- Schedules and facilitates volunteer meetings and provides special instructions and orientation for volunteers.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with community managers, community-based organizations and corporate sponsors to support the volunteer services program.
- Serves as liaison between administration, staff and volunteers. Coordinates quarterly volunteer recognition.
- Maintains a database of volunteers and time logs of volunteer activities in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
- Prepares and provides post-activity evaluation data, as appropriate; prepares reports and maintains files and documentation.
- Knowledge of volunteer programs.
- Proven verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of constituencies.
- Proven organizational and presentation skills.
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and special events.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships.
- Ability to prepare and maintain written reports.

Qualifications- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
