Position Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Full‑time nights, 12‑hour shifts.
Location:
Frisco / Centennial.
Unit:
Emergency Department, fast‑paced environment with high acuity patients. Leadership fosters learning, mentoring, and team building.
Patient population: all ages, acuities, stages of life.
Patient ratios: 1:4.
Number of beds: 21.
Department specifics: 20,000 visits per year, Level III Trauma Center, Primary Heart Attack Center, Primary Stroke Center, in‑house L&D services, national certification champion award for Board Certification of Emergency Nursing (BCEN) with 56% certification rate, 100% board certified emergency physicians, strong unit engagement through shared governance council.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Specialized field of study in nursing.
- RN license.
- BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of start).
- 2 years ED RN experience.
