Position: NICU Nurse (RN) | Frisco, Texas

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting
• Proficiency in neonatal assessments, medication administration, and respiratory support/interventions
• BLS and NRP certification required
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates, monitoring vital signs and response to treatment
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions according to established protocols
• Support parents and families through education and compassionate communication
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control at all times
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
