Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Float Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! In this role, you’ll provide essential cross‑coverage support in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion nursing units, rotating through select clinics throughout the Northeast Texas (NETX) Region
. Our Regional Float Pool offers the support of a dedicated team, along with the flexibility of diverse assignments across the Northeast Texas Region.
Frisco, Frisco West, Allen, McKinney South, McKinney North, Plano West, Garland, Rowlett, Castle Hills, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Denton, Denison, and Greenville.
ScheduleFull‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am‑5pm. Perks:

What Does the Travel Float RN Do?The Float Pool RN provides professional nursing care in alignment with national standards, company guidelines, and the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. You’ll serve as a clinical resource and liaison while adapting quickly to diverse assignments.
Responsibilities- Assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient care.
- Conducting health assessments, obtaining patient histories, and providing education.
- Offering psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Safely preparing and administering therapies (medications, blood products) in accordance with governing standards.
- Performing venipuncture, accessing ports, and maintaining central lines.
- Monitoring labs, facilitating dose modifications per protocol, and consulting with providers for orders.
