Overview

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center
- Centennial as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry – Clinical Decision Unit. This PRN position requires 6 shifts per 6‑week period with one major and one minor holiday per year.

Unit Description

Our unit is a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment serving a diverse surgical and medical population (Orthopedics, Neuroradiology, Colorectal, Urology, GI, Nephrology, Cardiac/Tele, Pulmonary, Geriatrics). Patient ratios are 1:5, and the unit is housed at a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Heart Attack Center.

Patient Population

Surgical (Ortho, Neuro, Colorectal, Urology, GI), Med/Surg (Urology, GI, Nephrology, Cardiac/Tele, Pulmonary, Geriatrics).

Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program or possess two years of relevant nursing experience
  • Registered nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of starting
  • Preference for candidates with experience in medical‑surgical/telemetry settings
