Registered Nurse (RN) PRN – Surgery

Work hours: PRN – Monday-Friday Variable hours

Surgery Highlights
  • Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team.
  • 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Rooms
  • Center of excellence for Bariatric surgery
Here’s What You Need
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • RN with one year of Operating Room circulator experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
  • RN
    - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
  • BCLS
    - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND
  • ACLS
    - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age‑specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
