As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.

• Shift: Full Time Nights, 12 hr shifts
• 2‑year (minimum) Labor and Delivery/Antepartum/OBED specific RN experience preferred.
• Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting.
• RN license required.

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans, adjusting them to reach desired outcomes.
• Build relationships, manage discomfort, and maintain professionalism in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members, empowering them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
• Assess and document learning needs regularly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and community to create comprehensive care plans.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
• Employ different strategies for problem‑solving with patients, families, and staff.
• Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
• Achieve goals through teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to growth.
• Contribute to peers’ development and demonstrate community service commitment.

• Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.
• Knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines in the area.
• Understanding of hospital procedures and rules.
• Proficiency in medical terminology focusing on health, disease prevention, management, common medications, and side effects.
• Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling clear expression of thoughts verbally and in writing.
• Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking.
• Basic computer skills, encompassing Microsoft Office, information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic medical documentation, and email.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN.
