A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Frisco, Texas. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care in a state-of-the-art unit that recently opened. Candidates are required to bring their active RN license on the first day. The position offers a weekend every other schedule, with a focus on family-centered care and the use of advanced neonatal equipment.

- Location:
Frisco, TX - Position: RN
- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Shift Details:
Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week - Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule:
Weekend every other and as needed - Required Qualifications:
Active RN license, BLS certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty experience, proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with infants requiring CPAP or ventilation, central line procedures, stabilization during deliveries, and developmental care skills - Equipment used includes GE bedside monitors, GE beds (Giraffe and Panda Warmers), Natus phototherapy lights, and Medfusion feeding/medication pumps
- Documentation System:
Meditech and CPNS - Procedures performed on unit include line placement, circumcision assistance, and intubation support
- Certification: ACTIVE RN LICENSE (temp license will not be accepted)
- Additional Information:
The unit features the newest equipment and is staffed with experienced nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, OB hospitalists, and anesthesiologists. This is a brand new service line opening on October 15th. - Float rotation may be required to the nursery as needed

Royal blue scrubs, clean and maintained nails, neat hair, covered tattoos, no visible piercings other than earrings, no perfumes or lotions
