Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) (Full Time/Nights)

Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N. Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75033

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) Work Hours
  • Full Time/Nights (7P-7A) 36 hours/week
  • 3 shifts per week
  • Rotating weekend and holiday requirements

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma in nursing required or
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
  • 1 year of experience as a registered nurse required or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 2 years of experience as an RN in an ED acute care setting strongly preferred; completion of ED residency a plus
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days and
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and
  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days and
  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required
  • NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program if floating to Mother baby within 90 days required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
