• Managing and supervising the emergency services nursing team to ensure quality care and adherence to best practices.
• Developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Monitoring and evaluating staff performance, providing mentorship and support for professional growth.
• Overseeing scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to maintain optimal department functionality.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Acting as a liaison between the emergency department and other hospital units or administration.

• A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in emergency services.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Current nursing licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• A commitment to maintaining a patient‑centered approach in all aspects of care.
